Hi, I think you'll find that your video card is not really suited to NFS.
The minimum spec for this game is for a card that has at least 32mbs on it.
Your card specs are here http://www.nvidia.com/page/vanta.html I also feel
that as it is a integrated card then it might be using you main ram memory.
If you can, and you'll need to check with your motherboard's manual, and you
really want to play these kind of games, you need to purchase a newer video
card.

Your assumption that if one game from EA is ok the next will be also is
flawed.

EA doesn't make/create the games, just distributes them (or something like
that). That's why there can be such wild divergence between version's 1 & 2
(as an example) as it may be a completely different company actually wrote
the game.

I just installed an EA sport game "need for speed underground". game video's
are running fine. but the problem is when i started to play the actual
game... graphics was some kinda unusual you cant visualize the cars and all
the background .and i cant even read the letters too.....theres no way to
see the game options.word appearing like a series of squares..

I am running two EA sports (F1 Racing & Moto GP) game on the same PC so I
assumed that there would be no issue playing "need for speed underground" as
far as video card and the sound card is concerned.

PC Specs:
P4 1.7Ghz
XP Pro
256 RAM
80 Gb hard drive
Nvidia Vanta (not too sure)
Sound max integrated digital audio.

Any idea on how to shake this prob???

thanks in advance,
R4M

Hi R4M,

When faced with having to upgrade my TNT 2 in order to play
recent games, I found the Ti4200 64 MB to be the best bang
for the buck. ATI has equivalent models you can choose from.
