I'm still in the transition of using IE and firefox so I need an extension
to allow me to use the IE favourites without having to import them all the
time.

In other words, is their a way to set up firefox so that it reads your
favourites without having to reimport or synchronise them all the time?

You only have to import your IE favorites ONCE, and they stay.
If they're not, you've done something wrong, or are runing an
app that is deleting them from Firefox.

I believe Rili means that IE is still in use, so the IE faves are
still being updated within IE, and to use the updated faves requires
re-importing.

Sorry, Rili, I don't know of an extension which will help. Maybe
someone will post one or post a standalone bookmark manager that does
what you want.

Ok, thanks for your input and clarification.

Fingers crossed.

K-Meleon use to do it by default, so maybe someone has ported that bit of
code.

Bookmark Bridge (open source) worked for me:

LOL, yeah right! IE is the most bloated, crappy, security-lacking
piece of crap of them all. I went to Firefox and have NEVER gone
back to using IE since... and I once thought like you (that IE was
the best).
