The ability to define folder additions and exceptions for
scanning is critical. AntiSpyware cannot scan beyond
damaged files (unreadable disk areas) and should be
allowed to navigate around folders containing spyware
that is being held for investigations, etc.

This is available MSAS already, on the Scan Page, choose Scan Options > Run
Full System Scan > check "Scan selected drives/folders > click on the
"Select Folder", check clear all folders then select the folder you want to
scan.
