I basically have a 4 port cable gatweway router.
Belkin:

The problem im having is i have 4 computer connected on the router and when for example im burning my DVD photos compilations on all four pc's the burning is taking way longer than the standard 13 minute .

For example if i burn 2 compilation on 2 pc at the same time , the burn time is normal , but once i use all 4 pc of the network to have 4 simultaneous DVD burns on each pc it can take up to 30 minute to get 1 disc burned hence im sending data from all 4 pc via the router.

You see when i burn my dvd photos compilation i burn them via the network, the photo files are stored on my network places and i use 4 pc to burn the files so therefore there is a lot of data has to be sent to all 4 dvd burners from the network.

Is there a fastest router out there that will enable me to process data faster? So that i do not suffer from slow burns when burning from 4 pc on the network?

It doesnt even say on the website what speed this router is!

Do you know?

At a guess I would say its a bog standard 54Mbps. You may need to invest in a 100Mbps or even an expensive 1Gbps (gigabits)

Yea ithink its the standard one, do you have any links to a real fast good router i can purchase with more than 4 ports? Wired ones.
Is a 108mbps a good choice?

LOL I would posting forever m8.

Go see for yourself. I have a Netgear 108mbps Wireless (WGT 624 v2)

That for example is very good. There are hundreds of different types just go look see.

you should get a switch instead of a router as they are quicker, you'll need to get an ethernet modem if you want to connect it all to the net though

Is this good?

it sound good but.... if the ethernet card in your computer only supports up to 100mbps it wont work at the full 300mbs that it says it will work at, so you need to see what speed the cards are in your system first. But most modern cards and sall ehternet ports on new motherboards are up to a gigabyte but i would still double check
