Need Dual OS procedure on a laptop. Windows 2000 Server and XP

I got a Dell Precision M-50 laptop, P4 2.4 GHz, 1 G Ram.
60 G hard disk, partitioned C, D.

I have OS Windows 2000 server currently, I would like to
know the steps / procedure to get dual OS with XP, each on
a different partition.

Basically, simply boot from the WinXP CD and install WinXP to an
empty partition. It will create the dual-boot menu automatically.
