98 can't run services, but the following site mentions an NT-based (Win2k
uses the NT kernel) port of BIND, which is the Linux DNS server: http://www.dns.net/dnsrd/servers/windows.html
It mentions that it's command-line, so if you're looking for
point-and-click, you'll could try TreeWalk DNS (also won't run in Win98): http://ntcanuck.com
Haven't tried these programs, though, so can't say if they're good.
Well, TreeWalk is based on bind, but I don't think it is fair to think of it
as a 'version' - that implies too much affinity with the original! ;-) and
TreeWalk on NT/2K/XP is far better than the Windows versions of bind (or
many of the other unix versions for that matter)
There is a relative of TreeWalk called Bind-LE from http://ntcanuck.com/downloads.htm (you need to look for it) that does run on
Win9x
