need copying help pls

We are unable to copy from word to our d drive. Keep getting an error msg
stating contact administrator or check if the disc is copy protected.

These are new discs. We are the only one using the computer and dont
understand why we can copy to some discs but not others.

BY the way; MS makes it very diffcult to get help and that is a royal pain
in the rear!!!

verbatim.

What is this D: drive? Hard drive? CD? Something else?

Exactly how are you trying to copy to it? Please detail the steps you
are using?

Can you write to the drive some other way?

Is this a new drive? If not, is it a new problem, or has it always
been like this?

Ah, finally the key bit of information: "We are the only one using the
computer and dont understand why we can copy to some discs but not to
others." Did you check the TYPE of blank disks you bought? If you bought
the wrong type or bought a batch that happens to be defective, then you
would get the results you are experiencing. No amount of 'Help' files can
take the place of logical thinking.
