Need Confirmation

Hi-

My Broad Band service (Insight) was recently bought out by Comcast.
I had changed the configuration for 'netnews' to the comcast.net settings
and cannot get access to those groups with a message that the server could
not be accessed. I did not change any settings on msnews.microsoft.com
where this group exists. It is still on the old insight bb.com server. I
have had many difficulties with trying to configure settings for Comcast as
are many customers in my area too are having. It is a nightmare trying to
get tech support. I, for now, am just testing this posting to see if I can
correspond with you. If so, does anyone know what I need to do to access
those other groups?

The Comcast news server is newsgroups.comcast.net. Also, You need to logon with
your email address and password.

Did you follow the steps outlined in this article?

Thank you so much for the info. I have followed the link and think I have
the initial set up needed. I am yet to set up the groups to the new server
but wanted to thank you for the information. Finally, I get someone who
knows what they are talking about.
