I have need of service packs for the MS products
that I do use. My security requirements dictate that I be able to
download complete ZIP or self extracting archives of the service pack
products. MS smart-installers simply will not work for me, nor will
online registration of MS products. MS insistance on users migrating to
the online registration and updates does negatively influence my
recommendations to clients when I build infrastructure for them.

I need a base website address that will let me know, IN AN OBVIOUS
MANNER, how to download updates and service packs for MS products as
complete ZIP or self extracting archives, not a small network smart-
installer. It seems that MS goes out of its way to hide and obfuscate
the location of complete service pack archive files. I look upon
this strategy by MS in an unfavorable manner.
