I note that Andy Jary put up a message on 20th Feb - did you get
anything from another source to solve this. (I note there were no
replies from the NG)

General request. I have been asked to help someone who used
Bannermania in the past. I understand it is a DOS based programme
which produced banners on continuous feed paper.

Is there a similar programme that will work with WinXP?

Why wouldn't the program work with XP (in the DOS box)?

Good point. I assume that it won't as he asked me to look for
something similar. Will tell him to give it a try.

The software requires the printer to operate in DOS mode as well.
Starting to become ever more complicated to utilise this old
programme, hence the need for a similar XP version.

Bannermania does not have a printer driver compatible with any modern
printer as far as I can see.

I have had some success with older programs if they supported IBM
Proprinter or Epson FX-80 printers by creating a new printer in
Windows using one of these as the driver.

Apparently, most any printer can run on these drivers. but print
a test page first.

Of course, your mileage may vary, not responsible for sunspots, and
other disclaimers included.
