Need Argent help

PLEASE HELP - I installed windows vista and instilation went well, my
computer reset and once computer came back on it goes onto the Logon screen
for about 2-5 seconds and then goes onto memory dump. It does this
everytime, the only way I am able to start the computer is in safe mode.
What should I do???

Reinstall Windows XP
Run the Vista Upgrade Advisor to see if there are any obvious issue
with your system
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/upgradeadvisor/default.mspx
Then try again ensuring that you have all the latest Windows Vista
drivers for your hardware.
 
I already run the Upgrade adviser before installing Vista, and it indicated
that there was no programs that will effect Windows Vista on my pc.
 
Before you do a reinstallation of XP, reseat your video card. Disconnect
external devices not needed for basic opertaion. If that does not change
anything and you decide to go the reinstall route, skip XP and just format
the partition during Vista setup to remove likely incompatible software. A
Custom install does not format the drive automatically. You have to choose
format from the Advanced Options.
 
Boot into safe mode. There go to system properties, advanced system
settings, startup and recovery and uncheck automatically restart. Then you
should get the error messages.
