Personally, I'd recommend RegCleaner, or the jv16 Power Tools suite it's
part of. Very easy to use, it apparently won't remove files if that might
damage your system and has a backup system so that you can restore anything
you've removed with it. I always use it before upgrading or downgrading ATi
drivers/software, and it's been a godsend in other situations - removing
Adaptec/Roxio EasyCD, for instance. I also discovered recently that it will
remove startup references in your registry - another thing that's often not
removed by ATi uninstalls.

Get it from http://www.vtoy.fi/jv16/index.php - it's freeware. Nope,
whoops, glad I checked on that (although you would have been redirected) -
it's http://www.macecraft.com/ now.

Whoops again! It's v.1.4 now and no longer freeware. It now costs $30 and,
although it's an excellent product...

A quick run through the site doesn't reveal any copies of v.1.3, which
was/is freeware. However, I'm sure some of the big download sites must have
it somewhere.

Sorry about that! patrickp
