Hi:

I was wondering if someone would take a moment and explain something to me.

I ran Ad-Aware and cleared out everything it found. I then loaded IE6 which
automatically went to www.msn.com (that started happening about a week ago -
have to figure out why that is happening)...anyway, I killed the browser
window and ran Ad-Aware again.

It found a "tracking cookie" had been modified.

Any idea on "what" created the "tracking cookie"?

What do you have your homepage set to?
When Ad-aware finds tracking cookies you can click on them and get the
cookie's information.

Hi:

Ok, will click on them and look at contents. Also, homepage set to blank
but somehow is reset on reboot to www.msn.com.

I use MSN messenger which starts on boot and I wonder if it is somehow
resetting the home page.
