I would like to replace my original 40 gig Maxtor drive with a Seagate
(Barracuda 7200.7 120 GB ATA 100 7200rpm 8MB).

Will my P4T-E, purchased about 2 years ago support the drive or would I
require a BIOS update? I cannot remember the BIOS version but I know that it
allowed me to use an Intel 2.0a Northwood. 1007 perhaps if memory serves
me??

Running WinXP Pro with latest updates, 512 Samsung RDRAM, Radeon 9600Pro

And the answer is..............

The drive you are seeking will work just fine in that mobo.
