Hi
I'm a little stuck here ... and i hope that someone can help me ! We are moving the head office of a companie to a new place but now they will have employe's who will connect to the main server wich is a small business server 2000. I have a fix I.P adress at the main office but the two other location needs to be able to take their messages on the main server via outlook and also their private files.I tought of implementing a vpn at the two locationsbut i wonder if they be able to get authentified on the network and be able to access the ressources on the domain. They need to be able to print locally and i also tryed owa last weeks and it's not fast enough. WHAT SHOULD I DO ?? Is dooing a site at each place is the solution. I'm having access to almost all the computers and ressources i need, how can i configure my domain so all the 3 places are being authentifyed to the network and they have access to their e-mails and files. THANKS in advance !

Carl

Hi Carl,

If you've got a SBS-server, have a look at www.smallbizserver.net and the
microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz2000 newsgroup.

if you have access to all the equipment you might need,
then set up a Healthy, Robust Terminal Server and have
your remote offices connect to the domain and any
resources needed(including outlook) through a RDP client
connection. Just open up port 3389 for TCP traffic on
your router/firewall.

Use terminal services from the remote locations to the server. This should provide the best experience for your users.
