Role: Senior Programmer Analyst - MAINFRAME

Employment Status: Consultant.





Key Domain:

Reference Data business
Excellent communication skills
Strong technical and analytical skills
Key Responsibilities

As a team member actively participate in all phases SDLC which include
requirements-gathering, definition, design, coding, testing, build,
deployment, and support
The successful candidate must have excellent communication and
technical skills and additionally be capable of working with both
business and technology teams located in various regions to meet
project objectives
Technical Skills

At least 5 years experience designing and implementing applications
using COBOL, CICS, DB2, SQL, VSAM, IBM MQ Series, SDF
Must have hands on experience in MQSeries within the past 12 months
In-depth understanding of the software development process
Experience in building high performance and scalable applications
Experience in using design and development tools
Working knowledge of Java, XML and IMS DB/DC is a plus
Non-Technical Skills

Work experience in financial services and/or investment banking
including experience in products and pricing reference data is
mandatory
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with the business users
and the global technology teams
Sound work ethic
