Matt

We have an older SCSI based video editing workstation and ever since we
upgraded to a larger video SCSI drive we've had performance issues due
to over heating. So I'm looking for a new case with adequate cooling
for the system. But since this is our oldest edit suite the owner wants
to spend as little as possible.

So does anyone have any recommendations for a cool but cost effective
case?

I was looking at the ANTEC Performance PLUSVIEW Model PLUSVIEW1000AMG
for $68 at newegg:

but I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks for the tip! But I was sort of hoping for more specific
recommendations, can anyone suggest a great cooling solution that's
moderately priced?

depends what you`d call moderately priced. to me, a £120 antec P160 case is
moderately priced compared to lian li aluminium cases.

what about the antec sonata? iirc it comes with a psu, and is engineered to
be a quiet case.

some of the coolermaster cases are cheap too - around £50 UKP (~$75USD)
chieftec's are another good make, and similar to your antec AMG design i`m
sure.
