Hello,

I'm setting up a Windows network for a client of mine, and I was wondering
what would be a good process for controlling and monitoring the use of
privileged network administrative accounts and their passwords.

Thanks for any feedback.

The best way to monitor when administrative accounts are being used in
the domin would be to configure auditing of account logon events using
your deault domain controller Group policy object. This will keep a
record of every time anyone logs in to the domain, but you can filter
the results in the event viewer if you need to.

If you're not using a domain (just a workgroup on a small network),
then you can do the same thing, just use the local security policy on
each computer instead of group policy.

Hope that's what you were looking for
