I am working on a final project for school and have no idea how to set up a
proposal for a deli to be added to a fictious office bldg in Portalnd,Or. I
looked for a template, but there is nothing that caught my eye that would
pertain to this in the templates MS provides. Any help would be appreciated!
That's good. I'm glad there isn't a template. That sounds like a
disaster waiting to happen. Before you get started creating a
PowerPoint, you need to think about your points and do your research.
What arguments do you need to make and how can you best make them? Think
about visuals that will get your message across. Are there appropriate
graphs or other visual representations of the data in your argument.
Once you have all of that, you can start assembling slides. Think about
having a visual (a meaningful one, not just a picture of a pickle
because it is a deli) and a headline on each slide. For example, I could
imagine one of your slides being a graph of the time it takes to get to
other nearby restaurants (of course, you have already researched this)
with a headline of how it will save time. This is really a two-part
project: (1) creating your argument backed up by quality research and
(2) presenting your argument. Good luck.
