they write about a firewire enumeration problem and offer patches
to resolve them. In this article the following table can be seen

My newest XP installation with all most recent updates from TODAY
installs the 1394bus.sys driver but only in version 5.1.2600.1130
Where can I find the newest version ??? I searched the Internet bu
could not find it

many thanks I'll try that, but I fear that they want to charge me, because I only have a Windows XP OEM version which came along with my PC
