NEC Z1 upgrades?

First off, if this isn't the best newsgroup for this, please point me
to a better one.

I might be able to lay hands on an NEC Z1 for nothing or next to it. I
love the (all-in-one, flat panel) form factor; I use mostly Macs
(direct flames to avocacy groups, please) and only occasionally need a
Windows box, so one that stays out of the way the rest of the time is
appealing.

Problem is, it's old and slow (PIII/450). Are there any performance
upgrades available for it, from processors to mobo swaps? I know RAM is
out there, but this machine needs more than that.

A Google search (Web and Groups) was unenlightening -- a lot of 1999
posts from people reacting to the marketing, but nothing from people
who actually used one, let alone upgraded it. I couldn't even find
detailed specs.

NEC doesn't acknowledge it on their support site. It's clearly an
orphaned machine, but if there's an unofficial upgrade path, I might be
game for the project.

Thoughts?

It *should* take normal SDRam and if it's a standard PIII CPU you should be
able to find a faster CPU.

I'd be interested in aquiring this machine myself, actually. I don't need a
high power PC and this machine is a perfect size.

P3 450 was slot 1, likely it'll take up to P3 600 but those
ran relatively hot for an integrated box. There's the
potential for Coppermine S370 with a slotket, though I
wouldn't bet on it with something semi-proprietary like
that.
