NEC's support document for Spinwriters here:-

This is a 1980s daisywheel text-only impact printer, which was
introduced (and became obsolete) well before Windows appeared. It is
likely that there never was a Windows driver for this printer. However,
included with the normal printer drivers in Windows is a special type
of driver called a "Generic Text Only Driver" which isn't for any
specific model of printer but instead allows you to output plain text
files. You will likely be restricted to a fixed pitch and you may have
to monkey with page length settings etc yourself.

Details here:-

Alternatively, you can install WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS which is
abandonware (ie it is now legally free to download) from here:-

http://vetusware.com/download/WordPerfect 5.1/?id=164

and install the NEC Spinwriter 3550 driver for that software which you
can find at:-

http://ftp.cesnet.cz/MIRRORS/ftp.corel.com/pub/printdrivers/wp5x/WPDW1.EXE

This may be a little complex unless you are experienced with DOS, but
is worth it since you will have lots more printing options. Maybe
somebody you know or work with will remember DOS and Wordperfect. Or
you can post here again.

Details about using WordPerfect 5.1 with Windows here
