Hi can any one please help, have recently published my webpage and at the
moment my navigation bars have the dreaded red x. My provider assures me
that they use front page extensions, and have also suggested that I use a
passive ftp client.

Any ideas???

Thanks in advance.

If you host has the FP extensions, then they should never recommend the use
of FTP. How are you uploading your content, via FP's http mode (required for
the extensions to be used) or FTP?

Provide a URL of the site

PS - remove all spaces from file and folder names - illegal html

Ok, but if the site has the FP extensions, then you should not be using FTP
to upload. You need to publish to http://www.yourdomain.com via File Menu |
Publish web command.

Did you publish through FP publish feature or just through FTP? Using FTP
corrupts the server extensions - you have to publish through Frontpage's publish
feature.

If you are using FTP you need to upload the _hidden folders too
The _derived and _themes folders
