Navagation Pane frozen

My navagation pane is frozen at about 1/2 inch. I can neither make it wider
or narrower. Through the Access options, I can hide or display but not
change width. I tried compact and repair. Nothing works. Is there a way
to change the width with programming or some other way, I am stumped. Been
working on database for months, up to today, I never had a problem changing
width.
 
Using the cursor, grab the edge of your navigation pane by holding down the
left mouse button and then move it out. You can also try F11 to maximize it.
