Hi Everyone,

I have a site with navigation bars on the left border.
They show up on my local drive but when I upload them to
the server they are not there.

I have control of the server running Windows 2000 with
FrontPage 2002 server extensions.

Any suggestions on what I need to do to fix this.

Thank you

Howard

Did you open the site live on the remote server with FrontPage and check to
see that the navigation structure of the remote web is intact? Assuming
that this navigation bar is based on the navigation structure.

Recently, I published a web to a new server, but the nav structure didn't
publish. I recalculated the hyperlinks on both the local and remote copies
and republished the site, but still didn't send the nav structure data up.
So, on the local copy of the web - I moved one of the files in the
navigation structure, let FP process the changes - then published the site
again.

During the next publish I got prompt with a notice that the navigation
structure of the remote web was different - I checked the option to replace
(NOT MERGE) the navigation structure of the remote destination. That
worked.

Do you see them from your local when you use File Preview in Browser
- if not, you have broken html tag pairs in your main pages preventing FP from creating the tables required for the shared borders
