nav doesnt work on autoprotect

Hello,

I have an athlon k7 1700 mhz. I have norton installed and liveupdate 2.6. It
installs everything, but autopretect stays not enables. on intel computers
it will work. What can be wrong here=

Check the settings and if that doesn't resolve it then try
uninstalling & reinstalling (with all background apps shut
down).
 
I did it and still the same problem. I installed anothis virus program, NAV
sucks!
