NAV 2004 Slowness and System Hang

To All:

I just updated from NAV 2002 to 2004 and the affect on system resources when
running the very first scan was very disappointing. When doing a complete
scan, all other apps hung. After the scan completed, NAV 2004 and the task
manager hung forcing me to do a hard reboot.

I am running WinXP SP1 with all of the latest patches, 2.52 GHz P 4, and 512
MB of RAM. I regularly maintain my PC.

The install of NAV 2004 went just fine.

I had few complaints about NAV 2002 and over the last 2 years or so that I
have used it. It never hung like this and I could always do other work
while scanning. I have also used other AV's over the years without this
problem.

Is NAV 2004 this bad or is this experience of mine an isolated incident?

NAV 2004 has generated a lot of complaints. I tried it for a few days
and went back to NAV 2003. That's why I'm waiting for NAV 2005.

NAV 2004 generated also here a lot of problems and i'm also went back to NAV
