natting with isdn connecton

hi,
actually i have already enabled routing on win2000 adv server with 2 nic.
one nic for public ip and other nic for internal lan. natting is working
well ,now i want to use isdn connetion with dialup modem as incoming
connection for internet (instead of nic card) and only one nic for internal
lan ,how can i route from isdn to internal lan ? can i do it by modifying in
existing natting setup?or i have to do with new setup? please help me

The same way you would do it for a NIC (almost exactly)
in RRAS.

You will have to first make the ISDN port into an "interface",
and add that ISDN-Interface to the IP routing (under IP->General).

For 'real' NICs this is automatic so the above steps are extra.

Now the ISDN-Interface can be added to NAT, most of the time and
in your case, as an External or Public interface.
 
i tried adding isdn interface (IP routing (under IP->General).but it is not
showing any isdn interface,it is only showing lan interface .let me explain.
i have one machine with win2000adv server with one nic and 1isdn modem with
isdn connection .when i setup isdn through dialup i am able to access
internet ,but because while putting nat i can only lan nic ,not able to see
isdn inteface so natting is not actually getting installed,error coming.so
tell me how can i add isdn interface (isdn modem). how my client can also
access internet through natting.
 
I think you can add a demand dial interface that will
allow you to choose your isdn modem under Nat
add demand dial but you have to enable demand
dial, on rras server properties General tab.
Don't forget to also add your local Nic as private
under nat for network translation to work and check
translate headers for public isdn demand dial side.

thank you for sending proper link to me.now according to that i was able to
add demand dial interface also added nat protocol and configued it .
but now problem is , in my iRRAs (ip interface ) i can see both connection.
but my isdn dialup interface is not showing up but not reachable.,if i
tried to connect it gives two types of message
"the error occured connecting this device .this device or interface is not
able to connect,check your modem or device port"
or
"port is not connected but port is available "(in properties of port ,i can
see com1 for modem) .
also in event viewer i am getting same message,when i checked for event id
explaination was ,"that before connecting this interface ,close all
application."
i did this ,but not working.
natting is not yet working (,but when i get connected with dial up i get
automatic ip address and i can browse the net. ,but internal adaptor not able
to communicate with that so other client . in nat ,it shows both dialup
interface and lan is up .but value are zero.
checked modem properties,it is shows com port and installed but one
messsage "r isdn tab is not configured" ,what is that?
dialup modem will give dyanamic ip ,and in lan has static ip.do we need
fixed ip from isdn dialup?
please help me , i think ,some small thing is missing
 
error message received after configuring the RRAs connection
"an error occured during connection of the interface acces was denied becuse
the username and /or password was invalid onthe the domain"

or

Have you resolved the error above first?
External isdn modem via com:1 or internal with simulated com:1
If external are you using a straight through serial cable?.
 
i was able to troubleshoot that error ,now i can able to see status ,that
dialup connection is connected ,internet is working on same machine,on
gateway machine)but clients is not able to access internet even after giving
gateway address(of private interface,).my network has static ip address.
help me
 
Which clients private or public internet?.
