Ok this may sound like a stupid question but if I have all
my servers running W2K server can I switch to native mode
eventhough I have Win98 clients connecting to it? Is
there anything special I need to do to allow the 98
clients to authenicate to the 2K servers? or will it be
seemless to them?

Thanks
Shawn

Shawn,

There should be no problem at all. Native Mode / Mixed
Mode essentially refers strictly to Domain Controllers.
For example, in a Native Mode WIN2000 AD environment you
would not be able to have any functioning WINNT 4 BDCs
whereas with a Mixed Mode WIN2000 AD environment you
could. It does not affect any Member Servers or any
client computers. Shoot, you could have some WIN3.11
clients ( have fun! )....

HTH,

Cary
