Hi,

the .no TLD registrar will soon start allowing national characters in
domain names (norwegian ÆØÅ), and as a registrar, we need to support
this. How can we implement it properly in win2000 DNS? I can't find
any documentation on this anywhere.. (just adding the zones has been
troublesome, as posted earlier)

Other than Mike's suggestions in the previous response about Name Checking
settings, is that local language installed on the DNS server?

Maybe Mike's got a point about the characters not being supported. Why not
just use the .na TLD instead of ÆØÅ ?

Yup, the local language is running as default on the server.
What do you mean, ".na" ?

Hmm, typo, meant .no (from your original post).

Maybe it's just the language is just not supported for use under DNS as per
the RFCs.
