I want to setup a win2000 server as a rras. My config. is as follow:
intranet nic:
IP: 192.168.0.1
Subnet:255.255.255.0
internet nic:
IP:2xx.xx.xx.xx
Subnet:255.255.255.240
I configue NAT to route my intranet to internet. But I encounter some problem. I can ping internet and I can use ICQ from intranet machines, too. But when I cann't browse any web page from any intranet machines ,though I can browse them from the server. The NAT denies most of the outgoing packages.
I try many ways, but still cann't resolve. Who knows what's the matter?

NAT doesn't filter (RRAS has filters but those are only setup EXPLICITLY).

Your problem sounds like a DNS issue.

Do you use a DNS server internally (AD etc?) -- if so, you must configure ALL
CLients (including) Servers to use ONLY that INTERNAL DNS Server (set).

Then you will want to set the internal DNS servers to "forward" to the ISP DNS
(in most cases.)

Describe how your clients (including servers) are configured to use DNS....
