2 problems about NARRATOR--XP
1)its written----"You can have the mouse pointer follow
the active item on the screen. "
but I cannot configure it ;; Mouse not following my
advice though I checked the box?
2)while reading a long page , when a particular page is
read, I scroll down for the lower half of The page;; but
then the narrator stops;; when I restart the narrator, it
starts again from the top of the page which i have
already gone thro & not in this window;
Is there a better way of configuring it, so that
narrator can read aloud any window I form in a
particular page.?
*will it damage my comp if I use narrator too often?
any1 with correct info will be highly appreciated
regards

Narrator is a not very.... I guess the word "smart" will do. I have used it
and it performs exactly as you have described. I found that if I scrolled
the window with my mouse wheel instead of using the scroll bars, I could
get Narrator to continue reading down the page instead of starting over.

I would suggest finding a third party screen reader with more options if
this is a feature that you would like to use on a regular basis.

Screen readers do not damage your computer.

Unfortunately, most third party screensavers are rather expensive. You can
use Google (www.google.com) or another search engine to locate software of
this type. I have heard that JAWS is supposed to be very good but it is
also very costly.
