I have an audio track. I have a narration track. I want to play them
at the same time. In other words, I want to narrate with the audio
playing. I can't get this to work. It stops the audio track, plays
the narration, then starts the audio track. It does not sound too
good.
Help would be very much appreciated. I have read all the Help and
online guides.
Thanks,
Linda

The following info may not be the final
solution you require but maybe it will
provide some ideas.
Since you are posting in a Windows XP
newsgroup....I'm guessing you are running
Windows Movie Maker 2.1.
In timeline view you should have two audio
tracks.
Audio and Audio/Music.
If your video clip has sound included...it will
appear in the Audio track by default.
If you add an additional sound file...it will
appear in the Audio/Music track. This file
can be dragged right or left for position.
Both should play at the same time unless
they are muted. Also you can split the file
and mute any portion you wish.
Also...if you have two sound tracks and
need a third...you can save the project in a
movie format and then reimport the movie
file. When you drag it to the timeline...the
Sound will once again appear in the Audio
track and now you can add a third sound
file in the Audio/Music track.
To save as a .wmv movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Tick...'Best Quality For My Computer'
Next/
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...
