This icon has appeared on my toolbar after playing some file sent to me from
a known safe (I thought) source, which I did not notice at the time. I can't
seem to find a way to get rid of it.

Any suggestions?

Norm

One possibility is a plug-in for Media player. In Media player, right-click
the top of the app and choose tools, options, and see what's on the plug-ins
tab.

If you are using WMP10, Napster is one of many stores where you can buy
music from you can change the store by clicking on the arrow to the right of
the icon.

Thanks, Joe--that sounds like the explanation--I'd seen that mentioned, but
haven't actually used the different stores myself, so it didn't spring to
mind.

This is "legal" napster--royalties and all--legitimate vendor.

No problem Bill.
