I have several sub-forms and I would like to label them, similar to file
cabinet. I did this once before, however, I forgot how to do it. For
example, one sub-form is "Members" another would be "Products" etc. Can
anyone tell me how this is done. I would appreicate any help in this matter.
Thank You!

Paul,

When you put a subform onto a main form, the subform control
automatically has a name. By default, Access uses the name of the form
which you are using for the subform. I prefer this myself, but some
people like to change it to something else. Whatever, the subform has a
name, and you can see it by looking at the properties of the subform
control in design view of the main form.

I've got an idea that you might be talking about using a Tab Control,
and putting each subform onto a different page of the Tab control, and
thus accessing the subforms via the tabs. Does this sound right?

Yes, Steve that is exactly want I want to do. I just couldn't find the words
to explain it. Can you tell me how to do this?

Paul,

In design view of your form, see if you can see the Toolbox. If not,
select it from the View menu. On the toolbox, there is an icon for a
Tab Control. Just click on this icon, and then click on the background
of the form, and a tab control will be put there. You can resize it as
required. I think it will be created with 2 pages on it, but you can
add more. To add a subform, set things up so you can see the Database
Window, and also the design view of your form. Just drag the form that
you will be using as the subfrom, from the Database Window, and drop it
onto the required page of the Tab Control. Hopefully this will get you
started... it is a largish topic, so yopu may need to read it up in an
Access book, or else do a bit of trial-and-error.
