in what namespace is EncryptedData?
i am trying to run an msdn sample .. but it wont work.
i checkd in object browser but it doesnt show anythin.
do i have to download some api?

It's AFAIS not part of the framework.

Actually, you need to go to this link:

This is the download link for CAPICOM which is what you need. MY BAD for
saying it is included in the System.Security.Cryptography namespace. There
is a function there that uses the term EncryptedData and that is what I
found on my first search. This SDK download should help you get going.
There is a " More Information" link on the right side of that page below the
download link that will show you a lot more information.
