namespace problem

I have VS.net + the DX 9 SDK.
I want to add the microsoft.directx namespace to my project only it's not in
the list.
How can I add it to the list?

I'm sorry if it's a stupid question but I've just started using c#

right click on the references part of the solution explorer, with a project
open and add the dll
