I am importing an excel spreadsheet with names and data. I have mapped
everything, but the names will not appear in Business contacts. Everything
else appears. How do I fix the problem?

Are you using BCM v1? I remember running into some problem with one
name field not being converted into another; e.g. fullname not being
converted to FileAs or some such. The solution is to upgrade to v2.

If you using v2 already, how have you mapped the names, to which BCM
fields?

Thanks
I am using v200.4324.00. I have mapped the first name to first name, and
last name to last name. I still have the same problem.

I mapped just first name and last name from a csv file, imported, and
Outlook automatically populated the FullName and FileAs fields.

Unless you can find some error in your mapping (e.g. an empty excel
column is mapped to fullname) I only thing I can suggest is to create a
new column in excel that's a concatenation of the first and last names,
and map that to the full name field for the import.

Thanks for your help. I found the problem. It was to simple, I really feel
down. What happened was that the order somehow was changed in the mapping.
When I moved the names from the bottom to the top everything wasy fixed.
There is a place for you to realign how you want the card to appear when
viewing.

Again thanks.
