[Using XP-SP1]
Hi, I'm sure on my system there used to be filenames below thumbnails,
when viewing files in the XP 'windows explorer'. But not any more! I'm
not dreaming, am I?? I thought the name used to be displayed...
I'm trying to find a way to get the name displayed again. It comes up
when creating a new file or folder, or when renaming, otherwise nothing
is there. Incidently because of this there is no name to click on if you
want to rename the file or folder, so you must select F2 (rename). Any
ideas?

TIA

Select another view then hold down the shift key while selecting thumbnails again.
