Outlook 2003/XP/Michigan State Govt network

I have multiple contacts listed in my “Other Calendar†in the Navigation
Pane. Every once in a while they all inexplicably disappear and I have no
idea why or how to get them back. I reenter them, but they periodically
disappear again.

Ideas?

Where in the "Other Calendars" are these contacts listed? Where are the
calendars in Other Calendars stored? Are they extra calendars in your pst or
mailbox?

,Diane,

There are four icons at the bottom of my Navigation Pane. One is
"Calendar." When I click on that, the Navigation Pane switches to "Calendar"
on the title bar. Underneath the title bar are: "My Calendars" and "Other
Calendars." The contacts are listed in that "Other Calendars" window. So,
these "Other Calendar" contacts are calendars of coworkers that have
permitted access. I believe ALL the calendars (and all Outlook items that
haven't been archived) are stored on our state server.

Thanks so much for assisting with this issue.

so those are shared calendars. Restart outlook using the /resetnavpane
switch and add them back to the view. (Missing links usually mean the nav
pane config file is corrupt so you can't avoid rebuilding it.)

Now - if there are network issues the calendars are reported to sometimes
disappear. There is no fix if this is the cause, short of a better network.
:) It's more likely to be corruption in the config file though.
