Neat list. Luckily I only use a couple of those programs and picked up on the "extras".

Aye, I can spot several there that give you a choice, the Winamp toolbar, for instance, can be de-selected during installation.

I noticed that Foxit 3 installed it's own toolbar, within the Foxit application only, whether you de-selected it or not. It is removable from Control Panel but stuff like that really makes you lose confidence in a software vendor, free or not.

And yes, I'd agree, iTunes is the worst offender, forcing you to install Quicktime just to use it's (rather shoddy) software.

err, not for me, I block all Adobe stuff.

Uhhh, iTunes!!!! That's the worst offender on my PC:wall: I've just stopped it from adding all the extra clutter, but it keeps trying whenever I update!
