Is the Network Solutions Screen some sort of client/administration screen?
If so, then what you're seeing may be completely normal - I've seen it
affect some ISPs but not others. As to why this is happening, I can't give
you an exact answer, but I would be surprised if the HOSTS file will make a
difference, especially considering the Network Solutions screen is probably
being triggered by routing issues related to your IP address, not a problem
with the remote IP address.
To test, find an office PC with a modem, hook it up to a phone line, find
somebody with a dial up account, log in using that dial up account and then
try to access your web site. I'm betting it will work, which means you will
have to go straight back to Valueweb for more assistance.
Alternatively, contact support for your office network software (whether it
be MS, Novell or whoever) to find out if there is a local setting that can
force you to bounce around the problem.
