Hello folks,

I received an email with a powerpoint slide presentation with a catchy song,
I wish to find out what's its name and the artist, how do I do that?

Thanks in advance,

JR.

It is unlikely that that information is preserved in PowerPoint. If the
song has words, try typing some into a search engine. If it is a
published song, you'll probably get lots of hits with 17 different
versions of the lyrics.

Thanks for the help, would do that. That mail has been forwarded so many
times that I seriously doubt anyone would know the name of the song :)

Thanks,

JR.

If you want to send me the presentation, I have a very large collection of
catchy tunes, I'd be more than happy to see if I could Identify it for you.
If you do send, make sure to include this file reference so I don't dump
before looking. the email addy is (e-mail address removed)

Jamie;

Thanks for sending the presentation. the name of the song is "Gonna Get
Along Without Ya Now" originally put out by Teresa Brewer in 1952 Patience
& Prudence released it again in the 1956. Also put out by Tracey Dey and
Skeeter Davis also in the mid 60's.

Don't recognize the artist doing it in your presentation. Would like to get
a good clean version by that artist if you ever find out. A couple come to
mind and that is Cristina del Valle or Soraya Arntas.

The selection in your presentation is called FlachBack(sfillpo_loop)335.wav

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm impressed. Anyone can figure out
PowerPoint, but it is something special to have an encyclopedic
knowledge of catchy tunes.

Would love to take credit for all of it. but I can't without the help of
Google and Wikipedia I would have missed the years and the Spanish artists
<g> I do have the original Teresa Brewer recording on 78rpm (nothing to play
it on today)
