Name Limit for network card adapter

I have a Windows 2000 Advance Server which provides terminal services to our
project members. Things are fine when the server is just started, however,
after some time, we are unable to access the LAN, the intranet site. The
error displayed is as follows

"The name limit of the local computer network card adapter has exceeded."

Please advice a solution
