I've recently created new tables from one large table by creating a make table query. Everything looks good in the tables...all fields are populated with data. I'm making new forms and cannot get the data to populate in text boxes. I get the #Name? error. I've tried several different things to get around this and nothing works. Any suggestions?

Generally, this means you have something in the ControlSource of the TextBox
that Access cannot recognise, e.g. a mis-typed Field name or the Field is
not included in the RecordSource of the Form.

Check the ControlSource of the TextBox.

did you also check the form's RecordSource property, to make sure the
correct table or query name is entered?

I'm positive of the spelling and I've also tried it by using the
expression builder so there's no way I could misspell a field name. This
only happens when it's a field that comes from a "make table query" or and
"append table query". Perhaps I'm not doing that the right way. But it
looks like the table populated correctly. Anyway...I'm out of ideas and
need to getting this thing working properly. Thanks for all your help thus
far.
