Name before comment in Network Neighborhood?

At work, we have a domain (AD, W2k ADV SRV) and XP Pro Clients. We
have put comments into Active Directory under the Computer description
to the effect of "Joe Sixpack's laptop" or "Jane Secretary's desktop."
Now under network neighborhood, the computers are showing up as "Joe
Sixpack's laptop (sixpacj)" and "Jane Secretary's desktop (secretj)."
However, they are still sorted alphabetically based on computer name,
which makes it annoying and difficult to locate machines. Is there a
way to change the order of the display name so that the computer name
is first, followed by the comments, i.e. "sixpacj (Joe Sixpack's
laptop)"?

Assuming you are viewing by Details...

To sort by the comment field, click once on the word "Comment" in the
column header (click a second time to reverse-sort).
To change column order, drag the word "Comment" in the column header to
the left of the "Name" header.

The problem is that under XP, in the "Name" column, it displays both the
comment and the name ("Joe Sixpack's laptop (sixpacj)"). What I want it
to display in the name column is "sixpacj (Joe Sixpack's laptop)" and
have it sorted alphabetically by the actual computer name (sixpacj then
sixpacn, etc.)

Sorry, I got confused and thought you were talking W2K clients.
