Some people told me that deploying MP3 streaming on a server even for files
of our own creation ( not copied) requires some sort of license or fee. Is
that right? Or does that depends on server used?

i dont think so. if you own the rights to the song, no one can tell you
what you can and can not do with it. by "own creation" i'm guess you mean
you made the music, and not ripped any copyrighted tracks from CD's or
downloaded them from the web.

thanks. that is good to hear. I actually I was talking about some of our own
creative vocal recording, nothing ripped from other sources.

you are fine. you "own" the rights to do what ever you wish with it.
