Hi There

I created a couple of functions called PST and GST for my queries and I can
use them but they don't show up when I use the build button (in a query) and
choose Functions and then my database.

Never seen this before.

Any help would be great as I'm perplexed

Where did you define them - in a Module, or in a Form's module (should be a
module)? Did you specify Public Function... in the definition?

Hi John

It was a standard module and although we didn't put public it should be
public. The thing that confused me is that it worked on a couple of machines
in the room (I was training an Access VBA) but didn't show up on all.

Having said that - when we just typed the custom function name in a query it
worked so it found it even though on some machines it didn't show up.

One student closed and saved the module but for others it even closing the
database didn't work.

A bug in Access 2003 or something I' not thinking of??

Thanks for taking an interest
