Mystery Buttons

I was looking through the available FP2003 commands under Tools/Customize and
saw a couple of commands under the Format Category that I wanted to try out.
I added the buttons to my tool bar so I could easily get to them, but they
have always been underlit. I have never once seen them highlighted so I
could select them.
The button labels are "Line Break Properties" and "Advanced Button
Properties".
Does anyone know what they are used for and how they become highlighted so
you can select them.

Line Break Properties only active if you select a <br> tag
