My XP home edition account takes too long to load up.

I need help with the System Config Utility 2 plz. My account takes about
5 minutes to load, can anyone help me!!

Hi,

Are you referring to msconfig or some third party tool? There is no "System
Config Utility 2" in WinXP. What sort of help were you looking for?

What is the "System Config Utility 2"? There is no such program in
Windows XP. If you were writing in IM chat-speak, now you know why that
is a bad idea in a newsgroup. The point of posting in a newsgroup like
this one is to get tech support and you can't get that if you are
inarticulate and no one understands you. Go here to see how to make a

In the meantime, here is a link explaining how to use the System
Configuration Utility built into Windows and some links where you can
look up the items you see on the Startup tab. Do not disable any
services with this utility.

What i meant to say was. My Windows XP account takes 5 to ten 10 minutes
to fully load up. I tried using the program System Confuguration
utility. at least that's what i think it's called. i got into it by
typing msconfig.exe in the run box. can any1 help me??

We already did. Use msconfig to find out what is starting with Windows
and write down the items you see on the Startup tab. Then look up those
items at some of the websites I gave you. Here are the links again for
